For week four, we get a glimpse into the heart of Jesus in Mark 10:13-16. Mark records a time when Jesus welcomed children, gave them his attention, and blessed them. Back then, no one thought very highly of children, and what Jesus did would have shocked the people watching. His gentleness to the children continues to be an important example of how we can make waves when we respond to others with gentleness.
Story Focus: Jesus is powerful enough to do anything yet kind and gentle. It takes strength to be gentle.
Bottom Line: God can give you the strength to be gentle.
