The Idea:
You need a banner lifted up in your life to win any spiritual battle. In the battle look to His name: The Lord My Banner.
14 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write this in a book as a memorial and recite it to Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”
15 Moses built an altar and named it The LORD is My Banner;
The Name, Jehovah Nissi, in Your Life:
You need the banner for the ‘battles’ Exodus 17:9 “go out and fight” Romans 15:4 (ESV) For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
You need the banner continually ‘lifted up’ Exodus 17:11 “Moses held his hand up:
You need to make the banner ‘unforgettable’ Exodus 17:15 Moses … named it 'The LORD is My Banner'
