The Idea:
Jesus takes the divine name Shepherd to show you how He sees you and how valuable you are to Him.
“The Lord is my Shepherd” Psalm 23:1
“I am the good Shepherd” – Jesus - John 10:11
Having Jesus as Shepherd means:
1. To be named
“He calls his own sheep by name” - John 10:3
2. To be made safe
“If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved” - John 10:9
"The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him."
3. To be satisfied
“I came that they may have life and have it abundantly” - John 10:10
