“1 Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.
2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”
THE BIG IDEA:
Here’s the process of renewing your mind –
Confront and isolate the lies you have let in.
Dig them out and replace them with life-giving truth.
Then you will be literally transformed.
How to Renew Your Mind:
I. Learn to Stop the Flow of Destructive Thinking

II. Learn to Exchange an Embedded Lie for an Implanted Truth

How to make the exchange:
Isolate it
Bombard it
Replace it
Here’s the truth:
I am not my past mistakes;
I am not what has happened to me;
I am not what other people think of me;
I am who God says I am, a beloved child of God – redeemed by the love of Christ on the cross for me.
III. Learn to be Transformed
