THE IDEA:
Grace makes no sense to us at all. But it is a reality. It makes possible everything wonderful God wants to do in your life.
Luke 15:20-24
I. Grace Doesn't Make Sense - Until You Feel the Father's Embrace
Luke 15:20
"So he got up and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him."
II. Grace Doesn't Make a Difference - Until You Accept the Father's Restoration
Luke 15:22
"But the father said to his slaves, 'Quickly bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet."
III. Grace Doesn't Make One Joyful - Until You Enter the Father's Delight For You
Luke 15:23b-24
"...and let us ... celebrate. For this son of mine was dead and has come to life again; he was lost and has been found.' And they began to celebrate."
Zephaniah 3:17 (ESV) "The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing."
