I love the song, “ I Raise a Hallelujah.” During the first months of the Pandemic I got to read some of my backlog of books. One that I read was Grumble Hallelujah, Learning to Love Your Life Even When it Lets You Down. The virus really pointed out quickly my weak points and how I respond when life is not what I expect it to be. I am still a work in process but I am learning to admit my disappointment quicker and take it to God; some things I can't control or fix as hard as I might try.

And God has specifically designed us to not trust in ourselves but in Him in ALL things; “we pour out our misery and all God hears is a melody.”

He’s the only one that can take your “ashes and turn it into beauty, to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” Isaiah 61:3

So when I wait, "I Raise a Hallelujah" and know that God has got me.
